Terms Of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you," "user"), and Roomiista ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Roomiista mobile applications and web platform.

By accessing or using Roomiista, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the platform and you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in certain jurisdictions) to create an account on Roomiista.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and password, and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@roomiista.com upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use

Roomiista is dedicated to maintaining an inspiring, respectful, and safe creative environment. You agree NOT to upload, post, or transmit any content that:

  • Infringes upon any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
  • Contains explicit adult content, pornography, gratuitous violence, harassment, hate speech, or defamatory statements.
  • Constitutes unauthorized commercial spam, bulk promotional solicitation, or deceptive schemes.
  • Distributes viruses, malware, trojans, or any code designed to interrupt or damage the functionality of the platform.
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely states or misrepresents your affiliation with a brand or showroom.

4. Intellectual Property & License to Content

  • Your Content: You retain all copyright, ownership, and intellectual property rights in the photos, videos, designs, and text you post on Roomiista.
  • License to Roomiista: By submitting content to Roomiista, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, developing, and promoting the Roomiista platform.
  • Roomiista IP: The Roomiista brand name, logo, visual design, custom silhouettes, source code, and user interface elements are the exclusive proprietary property of Roomiista and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

5. Furniture Showrooms & Commercial Accounts (Galleries)

  • Commercial profiles operating as furniture galleries or design showrooms must provide verifiable business information and accurate physical showroom addresses.
  • Showrooms are solely responsible for the pricing, availability, and quality of the physical furniture items displayed or promoted on their profiles.
  • Subscription fees, billing cycles, and invoices for verified showroom accounts are governed by the specific commercial terms communicated upon account verification.

6. Account Termination & Cancellation

  • Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time directly through the mobile application (Settings > Delete Account) or via our web portal at Delete Account Portal. Upon termination, all your data and uploaded media will be permanently deleted.
  • Termination by Roomiista: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms, engage in unlawful behavior, or compromise the safety of our community.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Roomiista platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roomiista disclaims all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or use of the platform.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith amicable negotiation by contacting our support team.
